Scofield Farms began its development in the mid 1980's with a smaller cluster of 1200-1600 square foot homes. Later, in the early 1990's additional builders stepped in and began building larger homes ranging 1500 to over 3500 square feet of single-family residences. Towards the end of the Scofield development, some upscale townhomes built by D.R. Horton rounded out the subdivision.
