Scofield Farms Real Estate

Scofield Farms began its development in the mid 1980′s with a smaller cluster of 1200-1600 square foot homes. Later, in the early 1990′s additional builders stepped in and began building larger homes ranging 1500 to over 3500 square feet of single-family residences. Towards the end of the Scofield development, some upscale townhomes built by D.R. Horton rounded out the subdivision.

Scofield is located in the northern section of Austin . It provides several conveniences to major highways bordering IH35, Loop 1/tollway, Parmer Lane , and Well’s Branch Pkwy. Having the last free exit before the toll way allows Scofield residents to enjoy the convenience of the new toll ways, yet gaining access to several other highways.

Wide streets, sidewalks, well-maintained landscape, and parks encompass the impressive location. If you are looking to for convenience to restaurants, shopping or major employers Scofield might be the area you are looking for. A recent magnitude for retail shopping and restaurants have popped up the IH35 corridor from Parmer to Wells Branch and you are only minutes from the Domain, Arboretum, and La Fronterra shipping districts. Several major employers in the area include Dell corp., Samsung, IBM, Free Scale, National Instruments and more.
